Pass the parcel and musical statues. In the Maths area this week we have been helping Santa to organise his Christmas decorations. We then wrote a list of all the things that we put in our bags for Santa. We have also been making Christmas crackers which we will get to take home next week. On Wednesday it was party time. We FINALLY found out what was hid.
Year One 16th December 2016. What another busy week in year One! We have been really busy writing letters to Santa. We made special Christmas marshmallows and biscuits. We will be taking them home on Monday. It was lots of fun making Christmas cards too. We all talked about our favourite books and favourite authors. It was very interesting because we all like different books! We are really looking forward to next week.
Lights, Camera, Action. Tissues at the ready everybody! After what had only been a few weeks of rehearsals we were ready to perform. We had learnt our lines, practised our dances and learnt our songs. Tickets were bought and audiences ready. It was the best performance yet, a standing ovation all round.
The last week of our first half term. Last week we were very busy in our samba music workshop. We have been learning how to play samba music for a total of six weeks. We have learnt to play the drums, bells and shakers. We performed our piece of samba music in front of our friends in school and they loved us. We were excited to perform but a little scared too!
